The Sniper

Task Description: For this task I made a copy of the presentation, and put it into my reading folder. I then read the text. I was given a list of words that were, new to all of the members of the class, and we had to find the definition. On top of that we had to answer questions about the book. We were mainly thinking about language features and which words the author uses. I then posted it onto my blog with Title a Walt, Labels and a Task Description.

  1. Hi Bethan,
I promised that I would come here, and here I am! Like the way you make your answers short and sweet while your paragraph touches more on those finer details. The background also helps the mood and tell what kind of story this is. My favourite is the silhouette of houses, only with one lantern flickering in the dark.

This reminds me of Refugee. It's one of those books who switches into multiple main character's perspectives each chapter and intertwining stories. A girl and two boys from different points of the world are trying to escape war. As you read further, the story gets more intense and richer. The ending is bittersweet. It's SO good! I didn't want to spoil any of it for you so you can read it too.

Your answers short, clear and your summary was descriptive. But if I were you, I would make a presentation for it and add an example of your work. I rather this method because I can add my personality with the writing. Also, I can make it more eye catching and visually pleasing (fancy way of saying to make it look cool).

Did you enjoy reading the book Sniper? If no or yes, explaining why would be great. I hope you'll enjoy the rest of your day, bye and cheers.
