Hilary Clinton

After serving as a congressional legal counsel, Hilary Clinton moved to Arkansas and married Bill Clinton in 1975. As First Lady of the United States, Clinton fought for gender equality and health care reform. Running for president in 2008, she won far more delegates than any previous female candidate, but lost the Democratic nomination to Barack Obama.

  1. Excellent facts, Bethan. Keep up the great research! I think Clinton has worked hard on gender equality and health reform too.
