Where I Would take a Visitor from Another Country

If I were to take a visitor from another country to popular places in New Zealand I would take Him/Her to the sky tower in auckland to the lighthouse in Cape reinga and to the southern alps in the south island. Why? Because i find those some of the most famous landmarks in New Zealand

  1. Morning Bethan!

I think that you have chosen three of the most iconic landmarks in New Zealand. When I first came to New Zealand I bought a copy of the Lonely Planet travel guide and Cape Reinga, the Southern Alps and Auckland city were all listed as 'Must See' destinations! Within Auckland, the guide also suggested that tourists should visit One Tree Hill, the Auckland Museum, the Auckland zoo and Kelly Tarlton's Aquarium. Have you ever been to the museum, the zoo or the aquarium? I often go the museum because it is free for anyone who lives in Auckland. I used to take Aronui (my son) there almost every week because he liked to run through the paddock (the Auckland Domain) in front of the museum and then go through the children's exhibits inside. There are so many cool things to see there!

I hope that your visitor will enjoy their tour of New Zealand. I also hope that you're enjoying your journey this summer as part of the blogging programme. I can't believe that you're almost finished. That's amazing!!!

    Cheers,
    Rachel :)

  2. Hi Bethan,

That is an excellent list! Nobody has suggested Cape Reinga yet, nor the Southern Alps. Good, original choices.

    Keep up the great work!
