Why you should exercise and what it does for you? - By Bethan

Do you like running? No? Do you like dancing? Yes? They may be different but they give you the same results: They Both give you an adrenaline rush, they both give you sweaty pits, they are both aerobic exercise. Once you finish reading this piece of writing you will want to get up and go for a run, or go to zumba class, or do something that gets you sweating.

The first reason that you should be doing exercise right now is because It reduces the risks of obesity, stroke, heart disease and a whole lot more. Exercise helps you in so many ways it gets the heart pumping which gives oxygenated blood to the brain, you can see how that would help you in you term essay right. As well as giving good blood to the brain it gets your lungs working as well, meaning more oxygenated blood, meaning happy brain.

Exercise also helps the release of hormones which make your brain cells increase in growth rate. It helps refresh the brain plasticity which help form new connections in cells in a wide range of cortical areas in the brain. In a study done at the university of british columbia it has been proven that exercise helps increase the size of the hippocampus.

The final reason you should be exercising right now is because every time you sit down it increases the amount of energy that gets turn into fat. The more you exercise the more fat you burn. Many children these days are obese because they are sitting down more than they are running around doing exercise.

So get up off your butt and run around. Go to zumba! Why are you still here? Go away, stop reading this. I’m telling you to go away and ride your bike or walk your dog or do something that will get you sweating. Because that is the exercise that helps you get better in life.
