My Motat Adventure

Walt: Write a Narrative

One sunny day 5 friends went to Motat with their teacher. Their names were Bethan, Deavay, Hinerangi, Joshua and Justice. The teacher they went with was Mr Goodwin. They went there on the bus from Pt England to Motat. But, what they didn’t know was that this was about to be the biggest adventure of their lives.

It all started when they got off the bus, “Can we got to the village first.” burst out Hinerangi, “What about the mirror maze.” Said Bethan, “But that’s gone.” Said Deavay “Oh” Replied Bethan “In that case let's go to the village.” “Ok the village it is.” Agreed Mr Goodwin. So they went to the village.

When they got to the first house something strange happened, Bethan disappeared and no one noticed. Then in the second Hinerangi, then Justice, then Deavay and last was Josh when the end of the day came the kidnappers revealed themselves and then the 5 children screamed Hinerangi even fainted but Justice caught her the only one of them thought this was familiar and it was Bethan “wait a second” Said Bethan “this is just like night at the museum. The exhibits are alive” then Justice fainted. “Splash some water on his face this happens a lot” said one of the exhibits. Then Deavay fainted Bethan and Josh found a pail of water and splashed it over their friends’ faces.

When they woke up  Bethan and Josh said “They don't want to kill us it is a-ok.” “They want to help us.” said Bethan “They will bless us with sacred fun.” added Josh “Yahoo” shouted Justice. Then the exhibit that made Deavay faint said “my name is Dave, Dave Jones, My mother and father are in the kitchen come on we have your type of food we always do.” so they followed that night and they were blessed with sacred fun. Deavay stuffed himself with homemade pavlova Josh won knuckle bones against Dave, and Hinerangi and Bethan won a cartwheel and handstand competition against two of Dave's sister Lisa and Roberta. Justice went to the whisper dishes with his new friend the next door neighbour of  Dave his name was Liam. Then they were called back to go to bed and then fell asleep immediately to tease them a little bit Luke who was the youngest and most prankster drew whiskers and noses on the girls and big eyelashes and lipstick on the boys and also wrote a note that said “we will take you home tomorrow (not a prank).”

In the morning they meant it but before they went they promised that they never ever would tell the adults that the prisms made the exhibits alive. “All you have to do is click your heels three times and the illusion with your parents will stop and you’ll really be at your  home safe and snug in bed." Said Lisa. So they clicked their heels it sounded like this Click, Click, Click. Then they all woke up in their beds safe and untouched.

Into The Cave

“Dad can we please try climbing” said Elizabeth as they were trying to find a way to get out of the cave. “ I’m sorry Eliza but we cannot get out of this mess like that, It's too risky.” They had gone to the cave for a road trip and, the only reason why the mother did not come was because she had died of childbirth. “ Your mother would’ve loved this she was that type of woman.”

They had wandered around the cave for three hours and then they stopped for a brake. “Hey dad I think I found daylight.” said Elizabeth as soon as Andy heard that he leaped up and raced to his daughter. They did not find daylight but they did find a new world. A boy with a loincloth ran up the hill to see what he’d caught. When Elizabeth saw him she screamed and the boy ran away to hide. Andy started to approach cautiously to it and then realised it was a boy. “It's okay Eliza it's just some sort of jungle boy” he ran to his mushroom house and then started to slow he noticed that they looked like him he turned and waved to them telling them to come.

They then started to get along that night they had some wild food that was delicious. The next day or was it night  they went outside and then they saw a giant bee buzz past them, and even tiny tigers and elephants. A few days past and they saw how cool it was to live there. They decided to try on the clothes and they were way more comfortable than the clothes you would normally wear, suddenly an idea hit both of their minds what if they stayed here it would be crazy fun. So in a few days time they made themselves a tree house. Now they live in a huge world in a medium cave.

Pes Olympics

Do you like sports? Well today we had the Pes Olympics. What is the Pes Olympics you ask. I will tell you. You know how we have the Olympics and it's a bit like that and way more fun. We don't have the swimming and the shot put or any of the Olympic sports. We have the Scatter ball, Soccer, Rob the nest, Tug o war, and lots of other fun activities.

So we got put into 7 countries Fiji, Brazil, Jamaica, Japan, Ireland,Canada, and South Africa. My team was Ireland A yr 5 - 8. There was A and B in each team and there was 2 junior teams ( yr 1 - 4 ) and 2 senior teams ( yr 5 - 8 ). My teacher who was running my country was Miss Berry. Our first game was football and we were against Ireland B yr 5 - 8 and we lost. Next we had Volleyball and won after that we went to scatter ball which was a bit like cricket or baseball except no bat. We won against jamaica.

After that we went to have morning tea. I had yogurt and then play under the Berry bushes for a while and then we got back to the olympics our next game was Tug o war against Japan. We won and then got to do handball which is a mix of netball basketball and soccer. We lost against Fiji. After that we had some Dodgeball and we lost to Brazil. We then had a ski race and I cannot remember the team we were against but we lost.

After that we had lunch and then went back to the hard court. We did the Olympic rings by putting plates over our heads and then we did the score and who won stuff. I think the Olympics for Pes was awesome.

Lisa and the Outcast

“Quick come with me” said Lisa “ The hunters are coming you will be safe with us.” Lisa was taking an outcast to their home. “ Excuse me lady where are you taking me” said the outcast. “ My name is Lisa and I am taking you to Hollowood and John they are my friends, and they will be at the great oak tree any questions, oh nevermind we’re here.” Lisa Told John that the outcast can use Oracle’s bed. When it was time to go to bed Lisa, gave him her vine mat. Just incase the tiger fur tickles him. Lisa had a lot of questions for him but he had more.

In the morning Lisa and the outcast woke at the same time. “ What’s your name outcast?” Said Lisa. “ my name is James, James Smith. What’s your name?” Said the Outcast. “My name is Lisa I told you. Where do you come from” said Lisa “and why are you an outcast?” There were so many but Lisa found out  the most important ones what his name was and where he came from. When Hollowood and John woke up they saw James and then remembered that he was an outcast like the rest of them.

“Lisa what is his name” said Hollowood. “His name is James and he broke a law of his town.” Said Lisa. “My town law is that I can not marry someone who is already married but I had sang to a lady called Hueka and I was not allowed to. She loved me and I loved her. But she was married to a man that she also loved but not as much as me. Then one day she ran away with me and because of that I got banished to this complicated place.” Said James “ She told me that she would come for me but when she did i was being hunted and she was being dragged back by her own husband. The next thing you know i’m with Lisa”. That lunch time Lisa was showing James how it happened around there and how they survived.

The next day Oracle came and met James at first James’ short curly black hair stood on end and then when Oracle said “Hi mother how are you doing” and hugged her James almost fainted. “Hello my name is Oracle what happened to you?” Said Oracle. When he found out. He said “all of my relatives will meet you at the feast here put this on.” Oracle handed him a loincloth made of the leaves and vines of the acacia tree. That night Oracle had to say a prayer for the man it was about the journey he had come to live up with. That night james couldn’t sleep there was a talking tiger, a talking tree and a girl with superpowers he had to go to the jungle and climb the acacia tree. So that he could sing the song his mother used to sing to him he was very sad a nightmare apeared in his sleep that night but he knew there was always tomorrow.

The next day he woke up late having a sleep in and when he saw Oracle he gave him a big hug and thanked him for the loincloth. “ Where’s your mother Oracle” said James, “ She’s at the lake, you want to see her” he replied  “yeah and I might have a swim myself.” Then he turned to the lake and then started to make a vine swing they had heaps of fun that day when it was a hunting day the 2 hunters asked James to go with them and watch when they got to the hunting ground they had an eye for a puma, they got the sleeping males of the family oracle was lighting a fire and then started to get the stones ready. “ Hey mum we have some left over tarantula. Should we keep it for food or give it to the ocelot cousins and puma cousins.” As soon as Oracle said that, they decided not to have the puma males for lunch the puma males they had put to sleep  got to the family safe and sound when they woke up the ate the tarantulas they had been given. That night James attempted to tame an ocelot and he succeeded.

When Lisa woke up she realised that James was lost she used her supervision and then she saw that he was challenging the man for his wife she ran as fast as she could to watch she really wanted to help him, it wasn’t fair he only had an ocelot and the man had a gang. She got Oracle and then she decided to ride on his back for oracle had a gift from his mother shape shift he shape shifted into a full normal tiger. They ran through the jungle and then in mid running Lisa jumped off Oracles back and said “We wouldn't let you have all the fun would we.” she handed him a stone spear that she had made for hunting and she used her machete. That day James smith got the love of his life back and even a new pet. They celebrated by having the cacao beans made into this lovely drink made by Hueka. Everyone meted up they had a dance and chant around the fire and then ate some delicious (to them) capybara meet. In the end they parted their ways with their farewells and goodbyes and Lisa set back to her normal life... Or was it.

“Did you check the fuel Edward?” asked Mekenzie. They were in rocket ship number 94-C preparing to crash land. “Uh no but I thought you did,” said Edward, Mekenzie took a glance at the fuel blinker it was... empty, Mekenzie felt this would be the end of her and Edward  but she decided to put on her helmet anyway, Edward did so to.

The 2 spaceship pilots were scared out of there minds. Mekenzie was packing some food, so just in case they survived, they would have something to eat . Suddenly they felt the feeling of what the crash of a plane might feel like. Mekenzie had planned this trip to be normal. It wasn’t going to be.

“ Wow mars is big,” said Edward looking around as he set up the shelter with his big sister. The ship had broken down but they had plenty of food, seeds and a bit of fertiliser too. They had been assigned the job to make things grow, and make a water source too. “Cannot wait till we start but we’ll have to fix the ship before 23 July 2017,” they had fallen into a space tragedy. They had to find a way to fix it.

Since Edward was the brainy boy at the mechanics, Mekenzie decided he should do the job of fixing the ship. She was the green thumb so she did the planting. They both did the water together. Every single day after they did the water source Edward would only come out of the ship either to fill his oxygen tank or to eat. Sometimes to video chat friends or family.

Edward had another go at the engine. ROAR gr gr gr gr the engine was running!! “Yahoo,” shouted Edward as he ran to his sisters room, “hey sis it's fixed the ship is fixed.” The next thing you know the ship is having a countdown and then there flying off to earth. The president of the united states was there to greet them but their parents were running out of the crowd and almost tackled them down with a hug, “home at last we're home,” said Edward, that night they celebrated with a big BBQ all the friends came over and relatives too, it was a great.

Goodbuy Fans

Goodbye Fellow Blog Readers It is the last day of school for Term 2 in New Zealand. It will not be buy forever though I will surely blog about my travels to Scotland. I hope that you have a good holiday and see you next term but before I go I want you to know what I enjoyed during this Term. I enjoyed learning from other people's perspectives.

Pyra the Charming Pixie Falls in the Swamp

Walt: Write a story using the story starter.

The woods were quiet and calm as Pyra the pixie was walking to Camelot. The luscious green forest was swaying with the warm breeze and the golden leaves of the trees crunched beneath her feet. The colourful birds were chirping a quiet song and the blue violets swayed with the trees.

Pyra the Charming pixie had long black hair and a shiny bow that tied her beautiful long hair. She had lovely blue skin which shined in the sun. Pyra was wearing a blue dress she had made with violet petals and silk from silky the silkworm. She was wearing her flower chain that her grandmother had made for her with the purple pixies.

As Pyra was walking she heard the trees swaying with the warm breeze and leaves crunching under her feet. Pyra was wondering how long it would take when she saw some fireworks spelling the word Camelot. She started to run to the spot where she saw the fireworks and then …. thump she landed in the swamp she tried to get out but she was stuck. “Merlin help somebody please help I'm stuck” cried Pyra she struggled to fly out because her wings were wet.

A stray fox heard her cries and shouted back “where are you Pyra, it's me Felix the fox, keep on shouting out to me, say Marco and ill say polo when I want you to shout again OK.” Pyra heard him “OK MARCO” said Pyra. A few minutes later Felix heard her and got to the swamp and said “ grab my paw Pyra I need to grab on to you.”

When Felix got Pyra she cleaned up and then started to go to Camelot and thanked Felix for helping. When she got to Camelot it was noon and she gave merlin some of her pixie dust. “ Make sure you let it dry Merlin I fell in the swamp” said Pyra and with that she went back home._________________________________________________________________________________

Blue Tiger And The Quest For Alliance

Sarah A.K.A Blue Tiger and her subjects are having the most amazing coronation anniversary and then they all go to sleep. While they are sleeping the past king and queen are kidnapped. Blue Tiger does not know this for she is fast asleep. On the other side of the jungle the Wolfgang have the past king and queen strapped to a to a tree. “ I will set you to free as soon as you and your puny kingdom leave your precious territory.” Said Wolfer.

The next morning Sarah went to wake her mother and father. She went to their room Crash! She dropped the plate and looked outside the entire kingdom of Lions and Tigers were being attacked by the Wolfgang. Sarah had the eye for 1 of them and that was Wolfer for she had sniffed the bed and found his sent. “For your own sake tiger girl surrender your territory to the Wolfgang or else.” Said Wolfer. “My name is Sarah and we will never surrender to you, you treacherous snake.” said Blue Tiger, “ We gave you a chance but you lied to us and decided to steal the chronicle and put our world at stake.” There was a silence between them and then he whimpered and made her pass out.

When Blue Tiger woke she found herself in her bed with a note strapped to her wrist. It said ‘you have one week before we come we will hold a conference on the last day you have today till Saturday to decide princess make your decision surrender to us the territory or suffer my wrath. If you want to share we will have a week of thinking. From the Wolfgang.’ Sarah was about to extend her claws and go after them but she calmed down. Sarah had a splendid idea and then started doing what she did in the morning and then gathered all the elders and the advisers and then had their own little conference.

One week later Sarah and her guards went to the conference. “ I'm glad you could come queen Sarah” said Wolf fang “we want to hear what you have decided-” “I want to share and give you and another chance” interrupted Sarah. “ Then it is done Sarah. I will give you five days to make room.” Said Wolf fang. Five days later they all settled in and had made preparations and for Blue Tiger she took good care of her kingdom and found happiness once again.
