Today we decided to look at dead cheek cells. I was in a group with Paikea and Amelia. The first thing we had to do was get our slide and put our initials on it so we would know who's was who's. Once we had done that I gently scraped the sides of my mouth. Then I rubbed my saliva onto the slide. A drop sodium chloride so the cells would spread out and some stain so its easier to see. We drew the cells on green paper because its apart of observing things. We noticed that we could still see the organelles insinde of the Cells as we moved up.This is a record of my time at Pt England School in Auckland, New Zealand..
