Walt: Create your own New Zealand Flag

Task Description: For this task I made a google draw. I decided to add PNGs of a silver fern and Kiwis. My idea for a flag was to keep the original flags colours but give it my own originality I think that i have chosen a really good flag. I then took a screen shot it and put it on my blog with a Task Description a Walt, Labels and a Title. By the way the image attribution for the ferns and the kiwi are below.

The Top 5 things i would do if i was new to New Zealand

1. Go to the museum and look at all the cool things and get to know more about New Zealand

2. Go to the Sky tower and either Sky dive or if you don't want to do that then watch the sky diving happen

3. Walk among the tree tops.

4. Go to Kelly Tarltons

5. Have a seafood lunch at Davenport.

Walt: share 3 interesting facts about New Zealand people

These are some interesting facts about New Zealand and its People. 

Fact 1: Today out of the 4.4 million New Zealanders 69% of Maoris are from Europe, 14.6% are Indigenous,  9.2% are Asian, and 6.9% are non Maori Pacific islanders

Fact 2: As well as bungy jumping, frozen meat and The Hamilton jet boat New Zealanders have made the tranquilliser gun, seismic 'base' isolators, electric fences, the fastest motorbike in the world, freezer vacuum pump, wide toothed combs and the electric petrol pump

Fact 3:Its reputed that 15% of NZ Families own their own boat.

Term 2 Summary

Walt: Summarise and reflect on what we have learnt



Task Description: For this task i made a copy of the blank presentation and then put it in my reading folder. it was a part of my reading learning to summarise and reflect what we have been learning about as you can see it has the order of what it probably went in.

When I had finished the presentation i made a screen cast using screencastify. screencastify is the app that we can use on our Chromebooks. The app looks like a film strip and it is in the top of your screen, once you have made a screen cast you get it in a folder of your drive called Screencastify . Once i had downloaded it onto my drive i then posted it onto my blog with a Title, a Walt, a Task Description and Labels.
